The Triquetra: Ancient Symbol of the Holy Trinity

The elegant Sterling SilverTriquetra Necklace featured on the photo is one of the symbols often used in Christian jewelry, aside from the cross. The triquetra finds its roots in Celtic manuscripts, artwork, and metal work during the early Christian period. It is widely used by Christians as a symbol to represent the Holy Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Throughout Christian history, the triquetra has been used extensively in Christian stained glass, sculptures, and book art. In some editions of the New King James Version of the Holy Bible, the ancient triquetra symbol may still be found in some of its pages.

The Holy Trinity reminds all Christians that the one God they serve has three attributes and that each soul can approach the throne of grace through each of those attributes. This Triquetra pendant is constructed of fine quality sterling silver and comes with an 18-inch curb chain. It is lovingly handcrafted in the USA with the pendant measuring 5/8 inches x 5/8 inches.
